Exploring the World of Short Videos

This autumn, I’ve been exploring the world of short video creation and have had the pleasure of receiving expert guidance from Artturi Winsten, who has extensive experience in music-related videos and social media content. It has been an inspiring deep dive into visual storytelling — let’s see where this path leads next!

27.9.2025 – Tampere

We had the annual meeting of the Finnish Wind Band Association´s , where I was honored to be selected as a new board member. The day also incuded an inspiring professional development session led by Anni Jääskeläinen, who spoke about how to cherish your resurses in training and support the well-being of your orchestra players We also discussed the future of the Finnish wind band world and got a first look at the new strategy for the coming years. 14.8.2025 – Hämeenlinna

I had the pleasure of taking part in a Senso Coaching Day for musician – what a wonderful day and inspiring event! The event featured wonderful lecturers: Marko Siivonen, Aapo Rantanen, Erja Joukamo-Ampuja, Milla Mäkinen and Laura Saarinen. I definitely want to learn more about this topic and can warmly recommend reading Marko Siivonen´s book Aivoilta apua (”Help from the brain”) which explores how fuctional neuroscience supports well-being. For music teachers and conductors alike, understanding how the musician’s nervous system works is truly eye-opening. More info from spinacor.fi
